Start a Gridfinity drawer system with files that open in CAD, not just STL meshes. The kit includes a 3x3 open baseplate and three bin sizes (1x1 x 3u, 2x1 x 3u and 2x2 x 6u). Each bin comes in a magnet version and a magnet-plus-screw version.
The geometry follows the published Gridfinity dimensions: a 42 mm pitch, a 7 mm height unit and the stacking lip profile. Magnet pockets are 6.5 x 2.4 mm, and the M3 screw holes are optional.
Because you get STEP and IGES masters, you can resize a bin, add a cutout or merge parts in Fusion, Onshape or any parametric CAD without rebuilding from a mesh. The download also includes a dimensioned spec PDF and the Python source.
Gridfinity was created by Zack Freedman and released under the MIT License. This is an independent Gridfinity-compatible model, and the MIT notice is in the ZIP.
